Pool Lifeguard course gives the necessary skills to be a professional pool lifeguard. Topics include how to supervise an aquatic environment, water rescue techniques, CPR, administering oxygen therapy, providing first aid and emergency care, operating an Automatic External Defibrillator in an emergency situation. Participants will require a high level of aquatic fitness and swimming ability in order to successfully complete the course as it involves various practical swimming assessments, water rescues, lifts and carries, spinal management and responding to emergencies.


Resuscitation (CPR) refers to the actions taken to keep a casualty alive after their breathing and heartbeat has stopped. Resuscitation can mean the difference between life and death. Early intervention with Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) can and will save lives. By taking the time to learn about resuscitation you could save someone’s life.


First Aid Course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to administer first aid to a victim of illness or injury until professional medical help arrives. The course will provide you with the ability to recognize basic signs and symptoms of an injured or sick person and subsequently provide appropriate treatment and assistance.

Water Rescue & CPR Training Courses

Swim Vietnam is a charity organization that tackles the problem of drowning in Vietnam by training adults as swim teachers and providing free swimming lessons and water safety education to Vietnamese children. Swim Vietnam has now partnered with Royal Life Saving Australia NSW Branch.

Swim Vietnam can provide water safety, lifeguarding and rescue courses and train your staff to an internationally recognized standard.  Certificates accredited by Royal Lifesaving will be awarded to your staff and hotel at the successful completion of the course.  The training will be provided by both Vietnamese and Australian trainers.  The course can be provided in either Vietnamese or English. Courses can be delivered at either your hotel pool or at our swimming pool in Nguyen Du school in Cam Chau, Hoi An.  All profits from these training courses are used to fund the Swim Vietnam charitable swimming programs.

These courses will ensure your water front staff are fully trained and enable your hotel to maintain the highest standards of water safety and professionalism.
